Hand crafted from 6063 T52, Aircraft Grade Aluminum, .090 wall thickness, round cornered, square tubing. Frame tubing is hydraulic bent to form a 90 degree cargo shelf, free of welds or any joints, supported/strengthened by three contoured Aluminum flat-bar, cross members. All structural supports/cross members are welded on both sides. Raw frames are then prepped and powder-coated with a high strength finish to ensure years of worry-free use.

The Most Comfortable Suspension Available
Adjusting the suspension – Our pack frame is built with your backs safety and comfort in mind. It is designed to keep the load’s center of gravity low on you back, so the weight is equalized between the shoulder straps and the belt. Ideally, the belt should ride on, or very nearly on, your beltline. Snug up that belt TIGHT, so it can assume the majority of the load. After you tighten the belt, buckle the sternum strap and snug it up so the pads come straight over your shoulders. Next snug up the shoulder pads by pulling the lower webbing towards the lower back of the frame, this brings the pack in close to your back at the top as well as the belt. The loops at the bottom of your pack frame give you a grip to relieve the load as you tire. Simply slip your forearm back through the loops and with a slight forward curling motion, the load will lift off your upper shoulders, allowing them to get a break without removing the pack. We’ve used them a lot on long and steep rugged packs!
Load Leveler shoulder straps have a SECONDARY adjustment that pulls the top of the load tighter to your shoulders and should be the final adjustment of the suspension. Be careful not to over tighten the load leveler straps or they will override the tension on the shoulder pads themselves… they should work together.
