I have owned and enjoyed my Bull Pac for many years. When my 19 year old son Jerad informed me that he had drawn an Oregon Mountain goat tag, I knew exactly what he needed for his birthday. I bought him the Bull Pac and added the Lochsa Pack. With our Bull Pacs outfitted with the Lochsa, all of our camp and hunting gear loaded and secured quickly and easily. The Lochsa pack’s many straps made securing sleeping bags and pads to the outside of the load a snap. When it was time to pack out our camp and his trophy Mountain goat we were only limited by the amount of weight we could handle. The Bull Pac’s weight limits far exceed our physical limits. When packing out our gear with the Lochsa pack mounted on the bull Pac we were able to loosen the connecting straps enough to slide a goat quarter in between the Bull Pac frame and the Lochsa Pack then with a quick tug on the connecting straps we were headed down the trail with our first load. The last load was the heaviest not wanting to make another trip we each pushed our limits. Jerad had the complete goat hide including head and feet while I strapped on both hind quarters and an equal amount of boned out meat.
